4166: Ricochet
I wrote some reviews on Hamazon, just 'cause. That's about all that's new around these parts... I find that I don't really have an easy time drawing when unemployed, just because I feel like there are other things I should be doing instead [especially when the sun's up]. Like I'd been distracted with the $5 copy of ZenGems I found at Best Buy--thought I'd try it and be amused for all of five minutes, but I was actually amused less than that... yet I keep playing because I can't wrap my brain around the mechanic [and stubbornly want to see if playing to the end will get me somewhere].
ZenGems is like if Bejewelled followed the course of the Race for the Galaxy expansion sets and became pointlessly complicated to the point of not being fun anymore. [I've actually only played Bejewelled: Original Flavour and some Jewel Quest/Puzzle Quest variants--both of which are fine--so I don't know if Bejewelled 3 is exactly as awful as it sounds like it could be.] At least it's not as awful as Puzzle Fighter, though there are many times when I have exactly the wrong piece for the job.

So I checked out where the new temp job I will have starting Monday will be, and it's about 8 miles away--like I'm going to the Rockville Regal, but turn onto Century [passing by the front of the theatre] and driving ALL the way down, seems to be the easiest way to get there [tried what I thought was a more direct route, but it's a pain going that way/no visibility when turning left]. I'm supposed to scan all day, only scanning... which is fine, I guess. Can't think of problems I might encounter, 'cause I have no idea what my co-workers or the office environment will be like. Even if it sucks, I'm "only" there through July, though, but we'll see. Also should be against traffic, so a *slightly* longer commute, but hopefully not horrible.
Also trying to think of who to do next for the Style Shift thing. Today's is Garry Trudeau, as promised. I was thinking Allie Brosh but I don't know if I could stop laughing XD
