3656.3: Alive Part 2

Why I liked my backup drive was it imaged my drive 100% so I wouldn't have to worry about did I copy all my sound files from the Windows Media folder [as I had forgotten in the past and no longer care about since I stopped putting sound schemes to my computer but THE PRINCIPLE STANDS].

Then I realized it didn't actually do this... >_< Specifically, I had saved my latest music projects in the main Fruity Loops folder, because that's where it defaults--to which my backup drive says, "Hey, you don't need to save Program Files! Those just reinstall!"

...so, yeah...

Here's the good part: This is FINE. *said grudgingly* The point of my doing a wipe was to clear out anything that was holding me back in whatever way. I'm not so creatively crippled that I can never compose music ever again, and I actually almost remember most of what I wanted to keep most thanks to self-bombardment a bit ago. The difference between now and 24 hours ago is I'm not being held back by crappy test songs [two of which turned out identical despite my best efforts]. It's sort of the same reason I tend to throw out old art [*cries of nooooooo[/Vader]*], that I can improve upon the general concept by redrawing it.

Granted, it's harder to tinker with an image that's not digital... hmm, not as good an analogy... eh, whatever.

doomdoomdoom, sucks, compy, philosophy
