[We now return you to your regularly scheduled blather.]
Whoops, I bought a touch.
"Okay, wait, the iPod?" Yes, actually. I saw one listed on eBay, closing in a minute-odd from the moment it came up in the search, and I thought, eh, snipers won't let it sell for less than $200, so I threw a $199.99 bid up.
Closed for $195 =/ so, whoops. It's not a terrible price, though, and according to the seller it's a NIB dupe gift, rather than these factory-refurbished ones floating around that I really don't trust that are nevertheless going for only $50ish less than new so why the hell not just get it new instead. I'm going to hate this purchase in a year when it's only $100 new, but in the meantime it will mean I can leave my very-limited-in-use DS at home.
I was musing earlier at how I'm almost an honest-to-gad DC area girl now--embracing the "small cog in a huge clock" dealie and starting to feel it wouldn't be that bad keeping it up for longer than a month--and as such I should be more With It/Trendy/Hoopy. As I somehow end up at the Mall for almost every lunch break now 9_9 I finally stopped in some of the *gasp!* clothes stores to get some new duds that don't make me feel entirely like I'm just borrowing my mother's clothes, even though I bought the damn things myself so why do they feel so crap. It was chilly this morning, so I bought a jacket from Forever 21. I feel very trendy now. Also, they were playing G.T.F.O.D.V.N.O. when I went in XD though, not Cross.
Longer musing later, I don't feel like writing any more right now, though I may as well post this much.
