I'm actually tempted to get Braid, vs. the T2R and Crackassonne plus expansions for each that Char mentioned getting when discussing getting XBLA, even though I've now sat through Thomas playing through several worlds. To a degree, I feel like I've been ruined, because it's a puzzle game and I now have seen X% of the puzzle solutions, but that's one of the benefits of a short memory XD
...which, unfortunately, is selective in its retention =/
Char shuffled me out the door early before heading over, since I might as well have taken the trash out while he took his laundry out of the dryer, but in doing so he made me leave my sketchbook [and T2R] here at the apartment--saying, "Just go..." Normally, I end up not doing anything in it anyway, 'cause we end up huddled around XBLA all evening, but tonight Thomas had a friend over and they ended up doing Braid [a bit later], Alone in the Dark [demo], and some other game that was making me dizzy to watch, besides Dan wanting to watch some movie or other, so I really might've gotten something done, especially since it was more than two hours after when Mum asked us to show up before the meal was ready in the first place. Which is making it increasingly now, weekends are "go somewhere and sit."
I think some force of fate is punishing me for ever getting off-track, 'cause it feels like that hurdle of getting back in shape once having gotten out of shape =p Old habits are hard to break? More like old habits are hard to restart. This rut is like ten feet deep by now, I don't know how to get out of it T_T
So! Birfweek prezzies from Mum and Pa Mugg [and Thomas and Dan, I guess, but maybe they just signed the card as such to be nice]:
And if you haven't seen it before, this was from Chars:
So basically Fawx just needs to bring Ra and Tikal XD so Jon can play, HIS FAVOURITES =B
