So even though I have all this income again, I'm still eBaying, even at a loss [stupid "no additional shipping cost per item" promo I have going + fees, fees, fees]. Evidence shows that hoarding rare/ltd. ed. stuff doesn't necessarily equate to money made in the future, though, so I might as well unload stuff I don't want and at least make somebody happy. I wish more stuff could be listed on Half, but they don't even have the Soul Nomad guide in the system, and Half's ideal for that.
After learning from the past few weeks' inconveniencing, I listed everything I had ready* Saturday evening, with the intent that the auctions would close with ample time for bidders to pay over the weekend and for me to get things ready to ship Monday. I then had a bidder decide that was too long to wait because somebody's birthday is in six days and would I consider adding a BIN option. DEFEATS MY INTENT, but okay, can't think of a good reason why not, especially with no bidders meaning I can go back and revise options like that.
*still looking for loose pieces to an item
Someone else bought it first. Unhappy first bidder.
I'm annoyed with the amount of stuff I have that *might* sell but isn't really worth the listing fees, notably trading cards. I'll either have to compose some method of listing them on my own homepage, go through the hassle of setting up an eBay store [$9.95/month but 2-cent listings from there], or just chuck the lot in recycling. Leaning so far toward Door #3 right now, particularly since my sites are rather BLEH at the moment.
Bought DESS NOTE magnets and a tin of Hagaren mints that has Mustang and Black-Hayate on the front. And Milk Pocky. Because I can.
