YAY MATHS: "You have posted 29 auctions and 79 of them closed successfully with a buyer." If not for the fact it's a cheap [free] place to unload niche items, I would never touch FurBid again.
I had exactly the wrong idea of what the Spoiler List should be. It was going to be as full of a list as possible, but no one's going to be interested in that--not even [or, especially] me. I should make a 32- or *maybe* 48-page comic thing instead, highlighting the major players. That would be quick to churn out, barring ACTUAL JOB.
[Here's hoping for that job... not that I enjoy promise breaking, I mean.]
Everything for the first four chapters of the Scrapbook is scanned except a couple of large things, though. I really need to get it all sorted somehow... like, by getting rid of it =p Perhaps once I'm done, I'll have a limited time "Buy the original" sale, after which I'll ditch the ones I really hate and/or are so doodly as to be worthless except as visual notes [as it were]. I feel much better/more confident about finishing it, though, now that the bulk of scanning is done. There is still the final, current chapter to do, but 4/5 of the heavy work done is much better than being 1/10 done -_-;You are being pursued by some bad guys. Don't ask me why, that's not part of the riddle, but at least you have a few hours' headstart on them. At the moment, you have reached a cliff. The drop is high enough to kill you: 170 feet.* You cringe, because the greatest fall you know you could survive is only 40 feet.*
*Maybe not, depending on your health and training, but the riddle seems to have some arbitrary values as it is, so let's make some assumptions in order to actually have a solveable puzzle.
You're in luck, though--for what reason, there are a pair of ropes a short distance away. They are spaced about a foot apart and are anchored into another, arching cliff face, each reaching from the ground to 120 feet in the air. Unfortunately, while you could easily climb between the ropes at will, it is impossible for you to reach the cliff face itself from the ropes, in order to rappel safely down the cliff. In addition, the ropes are each so firmly anchored that they will bear your weight and then some, rather than being able to be yanked straight out of their anchors from where you stand.
How much of the rope can you get, and will it be enough to get you safely down the cliff?
I did end up having to go back to "my" Target for the new Neojank plushies, oddly enough. I don't recall the Rio ever having new stuff in before Germantown, but that's how it happened. I guess they were too well hidden--I actually managed to get the three I wanted ^^: rather than the immediate sell-out that happens at Limited Too when they get limited releases.
That, or no one else thinks these are that limited of a release. Eh, I got my dog-faced Kougra, I'm happy.
