2663.2: Weird Science
Why in fuck am I awake? Gaddamn no sleep X(
...so, in junior high I made a bundle of Hybrids, Crossbreeds, and Mutants [distinction to follow] out of a period of inattention during lessons on Romeo and Juliet. The majority of them are really horrible puns, such as jerboa constrictor *blehhhh* but there is the odd unknown combination: batrus. Bat-Walrus? Where the hell did THAT come from?
Hybrid: The appendages from the additive animal are added to the otherwise-unaltered base animal [wolveraven = +wings and some feathers].
Crossbreed: The features from both combined animals are intermixed [shawk--UGH!--trades wings for fins].
Mutant: The combined animals are the same, but features are multiplied [cockatwo [BOO] = two pairs of wings and legs].
My brain is having an aneurysm thinking of ever redoing these =/ though, the curiosity in me wants to see what they would look like after now knowing how to actually draw the correct animals 9_9 even if B3tans usually end up doing just that for me every other day =p
I don't even know what their story was, other than nature was going batshit insane with this "random collision makes animals combine genetics in an impossible and totally ASS-IN-NINE way" >_< and that somehow Hybrids were good and in synch with the idea that such grotesqueries were not a fault and something to sympathize while Crossbreeds were either supremacists or thought all others were out to get them/enemies to be vanquished.

Fawx asked me if I'd gotten that camera I was looking at in Staples, but no, I don't need it right away and will wait until the last minute to get it, in case the price drops. I can't remember what model it was specifically, only that it was a type that came in several colours [the red caught my eye, but I don't necessarily want that one] and it was 8.1 MP and zoomed comfortably up to full-size at squirrel distance without having to fake zoom it that I could tell. Closest I see on the website is the Casio Exilim EX-S880, but that lists $250 instead of the $150 I saw in the store.
...if you're looking for birfdee idears 9_9 I *want* at least that, but I don't expect it by far because I know that's setting myself up for disappointment, regardless of what I got Chars for Christmas + birthday. Also, something even better is bound to come out if I can hold out another year or two ANYWAY =p so there's no point rushing out to get a camera.
P.S. I'm relying on reselling to earn NP, so that I'm just restocking several times a day rather than playing fucking Solitaire and Minesweeper nonstop. Buy somfin' from lil_jen_aside if you wanna help ^^ [I'd ask for referrals, but I have this innate fear of anything that even remotely looks like referral abuse on their end and getting incorrectly frozen for it. Eh.]
