Of course being unemployed is going to hang over my head like a dark cloud. I'm not pushy or confident enough to say, "GIVE ME A JOB, DAMN IT, I CAN DO WORLDS OF AWESOME AROUND YOU BECAUSE I KNOW EVERYTHING AND CAN DO EVERYTHING!" That's not what I'm like. I don't even feel comfortable ordering a pizza over the phone, much less sell myself.
Extroverts think introverts have something wrong with them. Well, we do, but it's more a difficulty coping with extroverts on their level. Introverts can't flourish in sales or management or public speaking or anything that requires facing lots of people at once =p or, not nearly as well as extroverts can, especially the extroverts who are so in love with the idea of being right that it overrides any feelings of propriety [the "Get me your manager because I HAVE A COMPLAINT!!!11!!" types unafraid of making a scene over a misunderstanding, even on their own part].
I'd better start looking, though.
