Not exactly, and it'd better STAY that way for a while \=' at least, with the one I'm thinking about...
I mean, yes, I lost my other grandfather, but for me physical distance equals emotional distance as well, if evidence has shown. That is, I haven't noticed any effects otherwise besides, oh. The years have shown me I just have a hard time remaining close with those I don't stay in touch with regularly. [Though I send the occasional note about what I've been doing, I hear almost nothing from Grandma's end, even from my aunts who I'm sure are helping write cards.]

Quitting =p Sounds kinda sad, though.
Well, okay, getting into HGM was pretty life-altering, but not quite as life-altering as dumping a sole, but abusive, source of income.

I'm not naming names, but thankfully that person's still with us :( The other person I could name happily isn't an issue anymore ^^ and other people I can't name because I don't know their names, but the ones making my friends miserable *shakes fist*

Decreasingly 24 every year, it seems =/ and Heroes took a bit of a dive with a certain "Smallville" character and writer's strike. MythBusters seems to be an undefeatable champion.
However! I will give props to The Universe, Journeyman [a sort of Quantum Leap rework], Human Weapon and nearly any other documentary ^^;

Though, Beowulf is the most impressive 3D work EVAR, but on the whole I just didn't like it. I am also declining to see Sweeney Todd because I simply failed to enjoy the macabre humour in forced cannibalism even in the Broadway version... and it reminds me of Cartman singing, "I made you eat your parents! I made you eat your parents!" ::ToT::
