2462: Control (Juno Reactor Instrumental)
Electronics duty again, still no Deathly Hallows. I kinda wonder if they aren't intentionally waiting until day of to ship, with the huge temptation for vandals and asshats to break in and post spoilers all over TEH INNANETS, SMELLAVISION, BILLBOARDS, AND SKYWRITINGS. You know, just 'cause.
I stocked The Golden Compass and The Subtle Knife today--OH SNAP I get it now XB though, I got pretty annoyed when No Memorable Nickname came to help me push. I'm not sure why, it just feels like he's fucking up my shits somehow [which is vaguely true--he didn't stock Hannah Banana Fanana Montana 2 OST in all the locations, which is the reason I pulled so many over request]. At least Dean pulled him off to start backstock when he [Dean] found the MMB push I had figured was missing but didn't bother to hunt down... yeah, why do I ever believe Flow does everything they're supposed to do XB like take all the push to the floor...
My one big success is I nicked that goddamn Bob Marley CD that somebody's been playing for the past THREE YEARS. >=O I'm tired of fucking puts-the-world-to-sleep Marley! Over all the other CDs they can't be bothered to change out, GRR! [Yes, I'll replace it, of course. Got Paul Anka in the queue XD~~~ though I'm sure they wouldn't mind the Wayne Wonder and Ne-Yo CDs I got for the one track on each.]
What should be obvious about Torrenting anything is there are scads of assholes who will gladly wreak havoc on people who want to pirate movies that have just been released. It's close to impossible to trust any of the Torrents until the actual movie has hit DVD, or the movie didn't do particularly well. I think Bridge to Terabithia and TMNT were flukes--I didn't get any of this Trojan Horse or passworded bullshit with either of those, and in each case I got the real thing well before the DVD release, and in near DVD quality. Otherwise, every other successful Torrent I've gotten is either fansubbing or already on DVD.
That is, I'm tired of picking through piles of shit seeing if there's a gem in there =p Piracy doesn't entirely pay, does it?
I think I'm finally over Lted. Mimzy, though. Long as I stop looking, I'll be fine... ¬_¬; Maybe I could go ahead and get the Emma doll [w/ pink feets Mimzy!] and "adopt" that as the daughter I won't have but kinda want anyway ^^: [in which case, will I have to dig up one that looks like Steven to go with her?]
So I've been fighting the blahs again, though those biological ticks have prompted me to start fleshing out Book 2--I've mentioned before, I believe, that what I like the most of my stuff is whatever happens to be on my mind at any given time? I guess that's why I'll never finish the damn things, 'cause it's all working out my feelings, and they won't be done because I won't ever finish feeling =/ How annoying!
Still, I got part of the closet arranged, which helped quite a bit, actually. I found my two pairs of jeans--the one that is too small if I've gained weight and the one that's too large if I've lost any [at the moment, the former is the case, UGH]--which is helpful since I haven't gotten around to replacing any. I also found the One Ring that came with my Legolas bookmark, which I decided to wear around for a bit as an experiment:
Also, I finished watching the Death Note anime [- 37]. It's surprising because all three versions--book, anime, and live action--are mostly the same but still end differently enough to each be their own animal. The book and anime are the closest, but there are still some changes that I feel are major enough to say they took liberties with it... not the least thing being the absolutely HORRIBLE Cookie Monster theme songs for the opening and ending from 20 on XB
I do need to contact my folks and Annaleise, since both have contacted me with news, but the blahs have made me unwilling for what reason. Part may be this whole "We're going to change the schedule so everyone gets part of the weekend" thing that ended up with me getting W-F off[?!] because Cream put my availability as Unavailable on Wednesdays, which is really he just asked me one day what other day I wanted off and I said Wednesdays was fine with the "but it's not a major deal" understood. SO NOW I AM BONED WEEKEND OFF XO because whoever's scheduling is putting all days off in a row, the fucker.
Rather, I'm assuming that's what happened, so I'll have to adjust my availability accordingly, since it's harder for everyone else to adjust for mine [particularly you guys with "real" day jobs] and I would really like the option, at least, to see folks if for some reason Fridays are bad!

- No one mistook it for a wedding ring [oh, well--maybe I'd have to wear it longer].
- It's too bulky to be comfortable, even though the inside width is perfect.
- It's too gold for my taste.
- Also, it's not very durable [so much for wearing it longer].
