2349: Paranoid Android
To validate my paranoia, I was mildly scolded for not having shown up as is usual on Thursday, when I was unscheduled. I say mildly, because Noisy Gentleman is, in fact, a pushover and easily accepted my excuse of having a project due [true]. What gets me is if Hey Mr. DJ had been the one to ask me about my [lack of compulsory] attendance, she would have prolly bitched at me about how much work there was and why I didn't call to ask if I could work even though I in fact did not feel like working then in favour of aforementioned project.
There are so many things that just aren't worth getting angry over, though.
I was a monkey and forgot Riza AND Falman, unfortunately X( but that's why I carry Hayate around in my jacket, even when I haven't even thought about it in so long. I even forgot it had "Easy Cheezy Mac 'n' Sleazy" on it =p and that I could delete it! Of course, Hayate gets weird with the shuffle when I delete a song--or even skip one--and pretty much plays about half the playlist repeatedly while ignoring the other half... So, got some mad Death Note themes in tonight! :'
...still feel like a design hack. Chars recommended I set aside an hour every day to just draw and get something done, but every time I do, I hate how it turns out. What the hell. I hope middle age gives me a better insight on how to manage myself, as I perceive of a couple of my role models.
[Needless to say, I'm not touching another puzzle game until I get some progress on something done! CHARS XB~~]
Had a "Momo" moment at work while pulling Accessories. That is, I found a mini hobo bag that looks really cute and am sorely tempted to get it but 1. I didn't feel like staying late this morning, and 2. I was having second thoughts about ending up bringing two bags to work--the hobo bag and my lunch mini-backpack. [Of course, I can use the hobo bag for carrying little things like sketchbooks and such that don't fit comfortably in my jacket, for nights on the town--doesn't necessarily have to come to work with me.]
Unlike Momo, though, I'm not particular as to whether anyone who sees me liking it subsequently goes out and gets it a la Queen of Copycats Sae. Murphy's law says it will be gone tomorrow [tonight], but I highly doubt it, since our accessories don't really fly off the shelves or anything... I mean, the "More than you bargained for" Find purses for $150/each? Pssh XB
