Pa Mugg commented last night when we headed 'round, "Golly! You've got more parcels than Charlie does!" I responded, "Yeah, but I had to pay for them." :p
BUT! I got Utada [
Exodus], Rain-graffitied ink, white space, and authentic banana dye ^^ and most of the remaining Gradius Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.
...yes, MOST. Turns out one or the other of my sellers gave me a dupe Covered Core instead of the Crystal Core I requested >_< It's not really worth the hassle of exchanging, but I'm not too eager to go driving around to local card places to see if they have one. May as well just get one off a different seller entirely and at least get an extra feedback for my trouble 9_9
UNLESS ONE OF YOU WANT TO TRADE! =O [likely]
I completely forgot Hayate as I left for work last night, though I remembered the spare battery, of all things X/ so I went a bit bonkers, not being distracted from the fact I was AT WORK.
The good news was Noisy Gentleman said specifically Bugger wasn't there anymore =O which isn't something he would say if he wasn't sure if Bugger was simply skipping out now and again. Mind, I have no idea if this was an amicable leave, like Asshole, and if he might return down the road... like Asshole 9_9 but, at least that weight's off my shoulders.
I am still fairly incensed with Clueless, however, as it simply isn't cluelessness sometimes as much as a blatant disrespect for established rules. It's not that he can't say he wasn't made aware--he just doesn't give a shit. For instance, Hey Mr. DJ [now that I know who it is, I really have no other name for that person] doesn't like people wearing hats, so we have a standard
UH "no hat" policy in effect... I assume excepting those like Red who wear the headdress for religious reasons or the women who wear hairnets or basically any of the women because women wear hats for a specific function and the men seem to wear them because they're too lazy to put them away or whatever. Anyway, when HMDJ or Frizz aren't on duty, Clueless keeps the hat.
Really, it's more that he doesn't put away his jacket that bothers me, because there's a "no personal belongings in the stockroom" AP policy, and he throws it wherever and gets it in the way of things. What the fuck, fucker. There's no reason to have your coat in the back. HANG IT UP!
[Note: I know, I used to do the same, but because I kept things in my coat I would access, like lozenges, but after several evacuations in cold weather, I learned it was much more convenient to leave it in the TMSC area and just carry shit I needed in my pockets. Also, I learned about the AP issue.]
Anyway, I still hate bikes. I'm quite pleased that Chard signed up at the gym instead of getting a bike--particularly since he doesn't believe in wearing a helmet :/ and that worried me--because I would loathe just the presence of a bike. Ever have to manage THIRTY of them?! Pisses me off that I blew an hour straightening up the goddamn bikes in the Toy stockroom... then NG shoved me back into Paper/Diaper X'
I've hit a diminishing returns on how useful I can be in that stockroom. I mean, there's still room for improvement--it's at about 98% of what I would consider to be "perfect" in my eyes--but not at nearly the scale if I got to do Toys for just one night. Fucking HELL it exploded in there X(
Also, I just hate it down there.
I'm going to need some beta readers soon... or, as soon as I come up with something that doesn't sound TOTALLY ripped off of 24 |:/
