2281: There seems to be a shortage of heroes...

I feel that Fox and/or NBC is either making a huge mistake by airing their prize-winning shows in the same time slot, same night, or they are deliberately trying to force us to choose between giving ratings to either 24 or Heroes, but not both. It's a somewhat failed war, in this "We can get Torrents of both shows after they air ANYWAY" age, besides the "Which show will draw the largest advertising bids?" battle, but it's nicer to feel obliged to watch them at a certain pre-determined time, because--besides there being fewer issues with watching the show on the telly instead of on the computer--I am then already making time to watch the show.*

*Compare, I watched 24 S5 on the air, and I didn't feel terribly inconvenienced for it, besides when someone dropped by and--hungry for attention--started talking through it, even knowing we were trying to watch. At the same time, between S5 airings, I watched the DVDs of S3, and I felt harried trying to watch it all, because I always had other things to do that I could have been doing instead. No, I still haven't seen S4 yet... feel kind of too busy :/

The third option is that I'm wrong, and one or the other will move [more likely, Heroes, since we already know 24 is back at 9/8c on Mondays], but I get the feeling it's decision time.

I knew something was going to happen to [SPOILER!] as soon as he acted [SPOILER!] against [SPOILER!]. It seemed kind of forced, in a way, but at the same time, I felt bad that he didn't get the silent tick. Of course, after S5, you KNOW another major character's going to get it, if not several of them.

The weirdest updates between S5-6 was the changing of the guard [so to speak], the "Hey, we found a new family member!" thing, and that couple... you know which one. It's like, "Yeah, kids... we met when she was usurping my authority. It would have been love at first sight, otherwise."

Er.

I miss Heroes. I've had a goofy music video for it forming in my mind at work, though I prolly won't make it out of principle =p Well, just another week!

Unrelatedly, I feel bad for expecting an iPod from my brother, despite his egregious wording pretty much telling me to expect one. I feel worse for expecting him to have gotten the most exorbitant model [short of the iPhone--I don't know if he knows that's out yet], not only because I pretty much won't use it at this point ANYWAY unless it's just a Shuffle, out of worry of breaking/losing it/having it stolen, but because it suggests greed on my end :/

Really unrelatedly, I should start carrying my camera around everywhere [again], because I seem to miss a lot of great shots by virtue of having left it at home. Most of the shots I've gotten are in various weather conditions, collecting around this specific building on the complex, of course 9_9 but also accumulating various angles of the road on the way to Giant/Borders in the plaza. Early morning seems to be a great time to get shots, as well, given the lower traffic and--now that I've figured out to manually expose the light instead of doing this auto-flash shit--I can get a great range of lighting without having to wait for the day to go by.

No, I won't show any of them, because I save them as my own stock images. You can see dem mews, though ^^ the storyline and image quality kind of deteriorates toward the end, though ¬_¬ [Fawx/Wuff, they are small because posting large huge blurry photos to the Web is kinda crap... I'll give the large versions some other way sometime]

...hey, looks like I could be Lady Jen Aside, after all! XD TEH W00TZ0RZ

There ain't enough ones and too many zeroes...
