2251: Preemptive Strike
I am beating 2007 to the punch this time... or, rather, I would normally post this on the 31st if I wanted to judge in a timely fashion and fairly for the entire year, but I don't really foresee anything major occuring in the last coupla weeks or so left. 1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Japania! ^^ [though painfully so]
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Apparently not =p I lose interest in projects quickly, it seems, regardless of how much enthusiasm I think I harbour initially.
Resolutions for '07: ...stay out of trouble, I guess 9_9
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
The Helms [Marc and Michelle] are apparently due again soon!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not particularly close.
5. What countries did you visit?
Japan... weren't you paying attention? ;3
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?

7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
23 May = ZOMG *T_T* ...particularly the barfing =p
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Sadly, writing 3/4 a novella and 1/5 a novella [co-Nano, two different stories]. I'm not sure if vacation counts as an accomplishment, and I didn't really do much else.
...well, does winning a $50 MP3 player in a raffle count? \:'
9. What was your biggest failure?
T_T I'd rather not go into it.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I still ache... CTS/TTS or their onset.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Hrm... =3 It will take me a bit to recall every single purchase this year. I did get a boatload of cels and tavisha original art, but for maudlin reasons, my Child's Play donation was "the best." =B
Of course, that may be the spirit of the season talking.

Amazingly, not 24 this year! I would put in for Heroes, but the thing about serialized shows is they really aren't as enjoyable unless viewed for the first time in sequence. That is, when SOMEBODY decided to talk through an episode of a show, it made me as mad as when someone talks through a movie in the theatre. It's rude, folks!
So, MythBusters! 1. It's a reality show about science. 2. IS FUNNIES! 3. If I miss part of one, it's not really a big deal. I enjoy watching it every time I see it, even if I've seen it already. It's kind of like a "Hitchhiker's" or Zim of reality programming--it's enjoyable each viewing, including out of sequence, instead of only the first couple of times. If anything, I'm embarrassed it took until Season... 6, is it?, to find out about the show :(

This year, Unexpected Magic, though I haven't finished it yet. Of ones I finished, Dark Lord of Derkholm, Howl's Moving Castle, or Castle in the Air, which are nevertheless DWJ ;) I also liked Mortal Engines, but a little less so because [SPOILER!] :p
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
MP3 players are AWESOME!
