I'm about *looks* 2/5ths through TDVC, and I've so far been avoiding looking up what this deal is about copyright infringement that's possibly going to push back the movie--mostly because it might go into spoilers, and I want to read the whole book before I read what's allegedly infringing about it.
2/5ths in, though, I'm thinking, "Hey! I've read this before! It was called Gabriel Knight III o_o;"
This may not be what they're talking about, because I recognize that borrowing from the same source of information is naturally going to lead to similarities--DUH--but if Brown pulls the bit about Sangreal = Sang-real = Blood Royal [instead of the more common San-greal = Holy Grail], then that'll naturally be suspicious 9_9
