I went to Penn State over the weekend to visit Dan, and it was a lovely time. I'm left feeling kind of ashamed in a way, though, because of how much fun I had. Penn State is like the typical college in all the movies. Girls lounging in the sun in bikinis, a whole neighborhood of frat houses with paddles on the wall and smell of beer everywhere... Its literally a city of college kids. There are hardly any "adults." I spent my time there differently from how I normally live. My crowning example would be on Saturday, when all the boys decided to play football in an open stretch of grass, and I sat in the sun on blanket with all the girlfriends and tanned. I mean, seriously? Would I EVER do that? But it was fun! We had fun conversations and I made friends with people I would never normally talk to. Later, at about 1:00am, we went to a place called "Are U Hungry?" which sells subs. Every sub is called a "Fat" something, like the "Fat Bitch" and the "Fat Mojo." I got the Fat Ranch, which was chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, fries, and ranch dressing all on a sub roll. Wyatt got a Fat Mojo, which is burgers, fries, bacon, cheese, eggs, chicken tenders, mozz sticks, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Normally, I would look at such food in disgust. I mean, thats so wrong. But it was so good!!!

Im seriously beginning to question my college experience here at Towson. I'm not moving schools or anything, but I know I'm not having the normal, "ideal" college experience. Before, I was cool with that because I don't want to be like that. But it was kind of fun, and now I'm judging myself.
