Taking a stroll through Satan's Kingdom

Pfffffffffffff.

College placement testing today at 3. Nervous about math portion but luckily my course of study is heavy on biology and not numbers (or polynomials and quadratic equations and slopes of fucking lines no seriously someone please tell me when in the real world does this come into play?). Anyway my sucking at math doesn't bother me all that much, seeing as I have to take an elementary algebra course as a prereq.

On Tuesday Joey, my mom and I took a ride up to the college to get a feel for where it was (and so I could drop off some papers). I like the area, surprisingly. There's a Subway on like every other street, though, like the town bought stock in the thing. And on the way there we have to go by this nice park called Satan's Kingdom.

SATAN'S KINGDOM.

Isn't that quaint? :D

Yeah.

I won't mind living out there, I hope. My mom seems to be worrying about me being on my own more than I am, but I think that's more because she doesn't want to be by herself during the day... and she's convinced I'll want to keep living on my own afterward. Which I won't, because the places I want to work after college are in/close to the town I live in now. The woman worries too much--and it doesn't help that Joey feeds into her insecurity by asking her what she's going to do without me, like I won't be coming home on the weekend or holidays or talking to her on the phone every day or anything.

Eh, whatever.
