At school there was a workshop on doing things with your tablet (inking and coloring scanned pictures with tablet and basic Photoshop skills for NOOBS), so I went there and immediately scanned in the doodle of the angry Chocobo and you saw what happened.
I find that I can't do those 1-pixel-line-sketches I see other people doing, 'cause I keep losing the crosshair, as myopic as I am, and I'd rather sketch in pencil anyway. The on-computer sketch for Materia Condoms was really chunky. So far it seems that the tablet's better for inking, anyway.
Also, with a tablet that size, you have to blow up the image on the screen really big...
XD Also, I just set the "double click" to "command Z" so I can go back repeatedly without going to the keyboard. Inking requires a LOT of that, I find...

About inking with the tablet -- I couldn't do THAT decently, either. You make me feel so damn inferior.

Ha ha, that's what fucked me up the most. I draw REALLY BIG in the first place -- my sketchbook is 11"x17", I think, and sometimes I need even MORE space -- so a small tablet never would've worked out for me. Ever.
Talk about yourself as much as you like! I find it interesting, actually. XD

I'd been trying to learn something worthwhile for the last few years! Good thing I found that flyer, huh?
The story of tablet inking is "Dammit. >commandZ< Dammit. >commandZ< Dammit. >commandZ< Finally. Wait, wrong layer! Dammit. >commandZ<"
At my school's fancy "digital aquarium" computer lab with all the fancy audio/visual computer equipment, you can use (maybe rent out) the really big Wacom tablets. I have yet to try them.
I'm a shy little person, so I'm used to drawing quite small, myself XP. Bad for the fingers.
