I had such a miserable day at work. The kind that has you crying and thinking about your options for quitting. My options for quitting: limitless. I could ask for a transfer, I could just quit, I could go back to Trader Joe's, I could ask Pat Wright if his union is hiring, I could play music on the street. But could I bare on and stay at this job? Really, its the fall out that depends on that. Short version: Leticia, the assistant manager whom I love and think is a delightful woman, hurt my feelings and was being a stupid manager. You know how it is that someone can just tell you that you aren't a good worker and it'll hit you harder than it should. I AM a good worker, but Lettie apparently has her issues. Anyways, it did get me out of work earlier but I was pretty bummed out.
With my free day I wrote a letter, did something else I hadn't done in a while: made an "intro to punk" mix CD. I cleaned my room, spent WAY too much time in front of this computer and of course played some banjo. I just downloaded Cool Edit Pro, a music recording program, and am excited about recording music. I need to get a decent microphone, though. Now its late and I'm still jazzed up. The liquor store around the corner finally sells DIET Red Bull. I need my sugar free fix, but maybe I shouldn't have them so late anymore.
But things have been going great since last I wrote. I had a fun Halloween, even if Cate, the girl who I am in love with, all but ignored me. Eh, she was sick or something. Besides, if she hasn't responded to that web page I made for her (with the help of Miss Jillian Slater, a girl crush worthy all her own), there's not much I could really want to say to her besides "You should check out that web page I made for you and then call me, stupid." Seriously, the fact that girl was into me for, like, a day and now acts as if I am a... anyways, its not that bad. I just want her to be all jazzed up about me like I am about her. Anyways, for the curious... www.jillianslater.com/cate.html
PS This new Foxfire automatic spell check is rocking my world.
