Ordered up as a lark on a tipsy dinner-party evening, the three of us didn't pay excessive attention to the film, but we got out of it what needed to be gotten - the absurdist storyline (all the more absurd knowing it's based on fact), the cavalcade of superstars (I mean, hell - Ewan McGregor, George Clooney, Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges, Robert Patrick, Stephen Root, Glenn Morshower - hey, he's a superstar in my house!), and the fact that almost every member of the cast grew a completely ridiculous mustache. It looks like a movie that was a lot of fun to make, and it's pretty funny, but it's not something that I'd ever feel the need to watch more closely.
