Set in a time of war and chaos, a group of survivors from the ruins of New York City struggle to survive and fight their way to freedom. Meanwhile, a small distance away, three exhausted soldiers have been separated from their unit in the midst of battle.
THE CAST:
CJ Thomason as Pvt. Christopher James
One of the soldiers who have strayed from the others. Chris is a joker, but shows great strength and courage in times of hardship. The only thing he wants more than winning this war is to get back to his pregnant girlfriend Elena (Elaine Cassidy)and his twin sister Alexa (Evangeline Lilly).
Jensen Ackles as Pvt. Tommy Cohen
Chris' best friend, a fellow soldier who is part of the lost group and a PTSD sufferer. Tommy feels he cannot repent for the sinful things he has done during war and suffers from depression as a result of the horrors he has endured. Chris does his best to help Tommy through his pain and anxiety attacks, but the war is taking its toll on all of them.
Jared Padalecki as Lt. Nathan Woodrow
At first disliked by his comrades, Lt. Nathan Woodrow was separated along with Tommy and Christopher. Nathan is a strict but intelligent man whose skills of survival make the others realise just how much they need him. The only problem is that he is in desperate need of a doctor due to war wounds, and all Tommy and Chris can do is encourage him to keep going until they find one.
Evangeline Lilly as Alexa James
Christopher's twin sister. Tough on the outside yet fragile on the inside, Alexa clashes with the equally headstrong Simone (Kristen Bell). The fear of her brother's death eats away at her and she finds herself growing weaker by the day.
Misha Collins as Peter Lloyd
Peter was dishonourably discharged from the army for reasons he won't discuss. His skills are just what the group needs to survive, but he is often not trusted among the others. It seems the only person who can see him for the good man he wants to be is Katrina Reynolds (Maggie Grace), who claims she can see in to his soul.

Katrina is the older sister of Simone Reynolds (Kristen Bell). She says little but claims to see things that others can't. Could she be the secret to leading the group to survival? The rest of the group don't trust her and ignore her mad claims. She remains a bit of a question mark and mostly keeps to herself. The only time she really speaks is with the troubled Peter Lloyd whom she comes to take quite a shine to.
Kristen Bell as Simone Reynolds
The younger sister of Katrina Reynolds. Simone is only nineteen but believes she knows what's best for the group. She's very supportive of her gifted older sister and often speaks out for her and defends her. Simone also develops a strong hatred for Alexa (Evangeline Lilly), but is that all she feels for her?
Elaine Cassidy as Elena Thomas
Christopher's beautiful girlfriend who is eight months pregnant with his child. Fearing for Christopher's life, Elena finds herself more alone then ever. The others try to avoid her like the plague, all except Dr. Jeremy Wilde who frequently checks up on her, and Katrina who approaches her with terrifying news about her unborn child that she has derived from one of her crazy visions.
Matthew Fox as Dr. Jeremy Wilde
Jeremy is an eccentric doctor who has a few tragic secrets of his own. The others ridicule him for his mad ramblings, but his medical skills may be the group's best chance of survival.
Katie Cassidy as Ali Parker
Ali is perhaps the biggest mystery of all of them. She's quiet, she's independant and above all, she doesn't seem afraid. The others soon realise that Ali isn't who she says she is. The only person who knows who she really is is her ex-boyfriend Tommy, who she assumed was dead. Unbeknownst to her, however, a reunion is fast approaching and the truth is soon going to be revealed.
