Somehow, it was as if she stumbled right into the middle of a surprise party and yet the guest of honor had a much more pressing matter to attend to. She didn't know about Sebastian, that he was a werewolf, too, but it was easy to understand when she saw the pain contorting his face as he moved through the hall downstairs.
She had gotten caught up in conversations, trying to inch her way through the crowd without screaming for them all to leave, that the full moon was approaching and that if they had half a mind they'd do something to get out of here.
But then the howling started and Marlow hurried up the stairs, searching for Sabrina, hoping that she'd make it out before anyone downstairs saw her.
The scream brought her in the right direction, Marlow coming to a halt when she found Sabrina on the floor, body twisted up as the shift took over, and Dean standing there, horrified.
"Dean, it's alright-" she said, her hand reaching for his shoulder. "Just stay inside- I'll be with her-"
She tried to ignore the lurch in her stomach as she watched Sabrina, not quite able to take her eyes off the younger girl. But instead she focused, willing her body to shift into her Animagus shape.
