(no subject)
So my hair is fixed and I'm on my second week of fulltime status here. No more shoes. Wheee! I start classes next week, and my life will be pretty damn hectic for a while, workin 8-5 and then class 6-10. Oy...luckily class is only M-Th.
Oh my god...remember how I almost moved to Austin and joined a band I really like? Um, I saw them last night at Marilyn's, and wow I am so glad I didn't do that. They were great when I saw them six years ago, but last night they sounded (and looked) like a regular Sacramento bar band. They really do still need a keyboardist though...it was depressing. Yeah, I was already glad I stayed cause the main reason I wanted to leave Sac was to meet the love of my life (not that I'd fall in love with a Texan, but I thought maybe I'd at least fall in love with their music scene). I didn't think there was anyone for me here in this crappy town, but I was wrong, and luckily I found him before a made a pretty huge mistake.
Wow....last night though....woah. I'm not saying they sucked, but it was definitely not what it used to be.
