They were a famous Hollywood couple who spent 43 years together, yet they called it off in 2004. The guy was afraid of commitment. He went into the mountains of Tibet where he backpacked and hung out with the monks for 2 years. Now, he wants his girlfriend back. The guy debuted in 1961 which makes him 45 right now. He's older, wiser and just hopes Hollywood will brush off his fear of committment as a mid-life crisis.
He recently got over made over by a celebrity stylist and now sports a very metrosexual look. Its not the type of thing you'd where after hanging out with the monks. However, he's been through alot of trauma and I shouldn't be the one to judge. (I don't think being metrosexual is in now anyway. I thought guys were into growing beards and being "rugged" men.)
The girl on the other hand made her debut in 1959. Since becoming single, she's been sporting shorter shorts, a deeper tan, and has been hanging out with a younger Australian surfer named Blaine. Like typical Hollywood elite, she'd rather be plastic than age gracefully.
Barbie and Ken seemed to go through quite the mid-life crisis. Hopefully, they can soon work things out so that little girls everywhere will be able to put bridal Barbie to good use.
