Well, that's two hours of my life I'll never get back. I'm remembering why I hate English-language opera. It highlights all the stupid mistakes the composer made. I heard better compositions in my Freshman music theory class. UGH.
And that's not mentioning the Jesus-freakiness of it all. They specifically stated that this opera took place 500 years BC, then spent the next two hours preaching about lust was bad, chastity was good, and only through Christ could we be chaste, that's why He died on that hill, we must pour our blood back into His wounds, blah blah blah. Not exaggerating at all. Big ol' WTF on my head.
In other news, I wish I were one of those people who could say that they'd found all the shit in Such and Such video game on their own without the help of walkthroughs. But I can't. At least not for FFX. I can for Secret of Mana, but that doesn't really cound cos it's almost as old as I am.
