Just putting this all in one place.
I have approximately $800 right now -- $300 in savings, $300 still at Chase, and $200 in my active checking. $40 of that will go to beads once that transaction hits my account, and then another $30 tomorrow for a haircut. I rather like having it chunked out like that. Makes me feel like I have less than I do, which is... good for my spending, sort of. I'm not allowed to buy anything else for beads though until I've made up some of what I've spent.
Tomorrow:
-Haircut
-Go get Water Bottle from canvassing office -- maybe try to get there early so that someone will actually be there?
-Make an Etsy if I can do that without any pictures to put up. (If not, maybe take some pictures?)
-Hang out with Joe ^_^
Wednesday: Go out to Forest Grove and...
-Get mail
-Drop of library books
-See if Rich is there to talk to
-Hang out with Bri and Tom and Case
Thursday:
-Pack for camping
Friday through Sunday: CAMPING. Lost Lake, Mt Hood, if all goes well, hooah!
The next couple of weeks will continue to be busy.
Monday after getting back from camping, call BARK. Arrange interview for Thursday or Friday. (Hang out with Joe?)
Tuesday: Potluck out at Aunt Phyllis's. Camp there with all of my family.
Wednesday: Gorge trip with family and dinner at Beth's. See ALL of my cousins at once; count number of boys on one hand. (The X chromosome is strong in my family.)
Sometime shortly thereafter: Start canvassing again. I hope. If not I'll be seriously out of money by the end of the summer. (Though I suppose no worse off than any other summer. At least I MADE some money this summer, money of my own and all that.)
I'm not allowed to spend any more on beads though. In fact, it's time to start recouping some of my spending in that department. Sometime in the next couple of weeks I want to take pictures of my shit to put on Etsy. Guess I won't really have much time for sitting around on the sidewalk. I'll see what I can do.
What was that business plan* Sarah and I came up with? I sit on the streetcorner, pass out my cards saying "If you like this, check out my etsy shop!", post on facebook and twitter, comment on other peoples' craft blogs, generally be a crafty wench and get my shit sold on Etsy. Shit, if I can sell bracelets for $8-$12, I can bust those out in an hour. Something's gotta sell.
At this point I'll have to sell about 9 of them at that price to recoup my spending. ... Right. Best get with the bustin.
