So, I spent today with my mom, playing real-life Tetris with my old room. It was the beginning stages of rearranging the space out here in the dining room to be my room, and getting my crap out of storage and into what used to be my room.
This makes me quite, quite happy. I will have a SPACE, one that is MINE. To do with as I please. I will have a modicum of privacy (a curtain will separate me from the rest of the folks), and a bed/couch of my own instead of the hard-as-a-rock futon (and this one will not only be *new*, but intended for use as a couch/bed, meaning I will FINALLY be able to stretch my legs out straight!). I will have MY LAMPS, and MY LIGHTING SCHEME! So happy, that makes me.
However, having spent today doing this means that tomorrow will be almost 100% devoted to homework and studying. The Gods of Finals have been kind to me this term, but I have not repaid in kind. I quite literally goofed off this whole week, checked out before the term was actually over. So I'm in a bit of a bind. Luckily, I think I can pull it off. The library is open from 12 to 7 tomorrow, and that will be one long solid block of studying and homework. What fun.
-Field journal to complete. This is top priority, as I'm already doing less-than-stellar in my biology lab, and it MUST be turned in BEFORE Monday or I'll most likely fail.
-Study/practice for math test on Monday. This is of mild priority. I'm fairly certain of myself, I just need to get down the point-slope formula solid and refresh my memory on PRT equations. And practice, of course. The main fear I have on this test is that I will fail because I just didn't *practice* enough.
-Writing project. This is of mid-high priority, as I would like to spend the time between classes tomorrow editing and fine-tuning instead of actually writing.
-Read biology, chapter 38. This is of low priority for tomorrow, as that test isn't until Thursday, and I have no class on Tuesday or Wednesday.
::sigh:: Ok. So it could be worse, really. I'll just have to structure my time and stick to it as much as I can.
12-2: Field journal. If I don't have it done by 2, I stop and do something else.
2-2-2:10: Get a cup of coffee. Be outside for a while. Take a break.
2:10-3: Writing paper. Focus on research for academic portion.
3-3:30: Eat something.
3:30-7: Math study, if already finished field journal. If not finished with field journal, do that first, then math study until 7.
There. And now that that's all done and we've done a much work on my spaces as we're going to today, I am gonna go sit on the crapper a while and then go to bed.
