Right. I had a great big long post outlining the whole Dickwolves situation and my reactions to it, but rather than drowning people in a flood of tl;dr, I’m going to keep this short and bitter.
FUCK PENNY ARCADE.
Fuck Mike, fuck Jerry, fuck that third guy I can’t remember the name of off the top of my head.
Fuck their asswipe fans.
Fuck their fucking PAX conventions (especially for claiming that they’re a supposed ‘safe space’), and fuck the fact that they are so closely affiliated with a charity that I can’t even look at Child’s Play ads anymore without thinking about PA and rape, let alone consider donating to them - since I would be indirectly supporting PA by doing so.
Fuck the way their stupid, asinine snowball of decisions and their imbecilic supporters of said decisions have made gaming spaces that much more unwelcoming to those of my gender.
FUCK THEM ALL. I hope the PA servers and the entirety of their merchandise goes and DIAF. I hope their cons wither and die due to companies, presenters, speakers, and potential attendees refusing to be associated with them.
