lily corgan...has a ring to it
so i saw billy corgan in the flesh last night...and it was pretty damn cool. he sounded amazing, and even though there was more guitar solo-ing than i would've prefered, zwan put on a really good show. and queens of the stone age was just scary. but a good night nontheless. alas, i did not have the opportunity to approach billy and ask him to marry me, even though he did walk through the audience to get to the stage. dammit. oh well, maybe next time.
today was a generally relaxing day. lounged around til 3, then matt and i went and ran some errands, then went to red lobster for dinner at like 4:30 (we are seriously 50 years old...i had a coupon and everything) to beat the crowd (matt said i was foolish, but when we got out...at the late hour of 6...the whole foyer was filled with people waiting for tables). and, despite our $4 off coupon, i ended up spending $25 on my dinner alone. oops. but it was delicious.
and then we went to the mall and i found a bra for my dress (girls, you will understand...my dress is the kind where you need some "boost" in the chest area to look good in it), and matt bought a dress shirt or whatever. and then we came back here and watched the game. it's nice to have a team to root for that actually wins. it was pretty cool.
and now we're at now. tomorrow i have spectrum which blows, but my m/w/f are pretty much free now that lab's over, so that is super sweet.
