Why is it that in every single day of my 20-something-year-old life, I become wiser? Or, I wise up to all the truths of the world? Or at least, to the cliches?
Cliches are truths. That's why they're cliches. They have been "tried and tested" and people have been finding out that they do happen. Most people hate cliches. But let's face it, they're reality.
Win some, lose some.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Better to have love and lost than never to have loved at all.
It sucks that they have happened to others. It sucks that they have happened to you. But what sucks even more is the realization that you have wished time and time and again that they were merely letters and words and not truths.
