I was reading this book of my sister's, and in it, this kid named Bradley is completely messed up. He's not so much of a bully as a jerk. He's more annoying than scary. Anyway, no one likes him and in fact, as a testament to this, he hasn't been invited to a birthday party since he was like five years old (the character is 10). And it got me thinking, how WOULD it feel to be not invited to any birthday party? As a kid, that's harsh. Your whole class could be invited to lil' Lulu's party except you. Or you were because her mom made her but it's like, you're not really going to go because no one would want you there. Of course in the end of the book, Bradley changes and he gets invited to a birthday party. I actually cried. Haha. Seriously...try putting yourself in his shoes, never being invited to anywhere, and you feel the pain.

Okay. Moral lesson of the day: Don't be a jerk and you get asked to come to parties. :D

Edited: I was just on Friendster, deleting stuff, when I clicked on this guy from my HS. And I hate to say it but I just have to throw it out to the world for posterity but he's friendsters with he-who-i-had-already-forgotten-but-just-remembered-again-because-of-said-HS-friendster. And because of the curious cat that I am, I have to wonder how they know each other. HS guy didn't go to Ateneo, and he's certainly not in the same school he is in at the moment...crap. It sucks that I'm interested.
