THE INSANITY THAT IS THE TROOP
GOD I've probably posted about how awesome "The Troop" is on twitter and facebook and on every post of thetentacleface comm, but I don't care I'm writing an entry so it'll be on my own itty bitty blog.
So. I finally bought the entire first season of the series on iTunes and have been going through the episodes like a maniac. I've never been more excited about a new series before (well. That's a lie. Because I was pretty flaily for Bucket and Skinner, and I still haven't calmed down since I'd stumbled upon to the wondrous thing that is Big Time Rush. Anyway. Moving on) and I AM ITCHING TO WRITE FIC FOR THIS SHOW.
Because because because there's Jake and Felix. OH THE WONDERFUL JAKE AND FELIX.
The very first episode I watched of the show was "The Triangle," which clearly set up Jake and Hayley and I got distracted because they're both so pretty and blonde and kickass, and I didn't even spare a glance at Felix because um. He picks up fries with his mouth. And he failed so much at getting rid of the weird brain thingies. But then I started watching first season (well first I read this AMAZING fic by folkloric_feel that like BLEW MY MIND and made me scramble to iTunes), and then the wonderful "Welcome to the Jungle" made BOY SLEEPOVERS CANON. BOY. SLEEPOVERS. GOD. FLAIL.
So. Even though I have like five BTR fic in the works, I'm already brainstorming wonderful, wonderful fics for The Troop, including a BTR/Troop crossover that imadoctornotalj prompted in this post. So all you wonderful, wonderful people, if you guys have any Troop-related prompts, SEND THEM MY WAY. Or direct me to a link or whatever.
