brrrr!
well, so much for keeping an updated blog, haha.
been in new zealand for about a week now. today we had the final services for my grandma. talk about fucking cold! rained in the morning, but stopped when we loaded up the hearse and set off to the church. poured during the ceremony thingy, but cleared when it was over (saw some snow that survived in the shade). drove to the cemetery where our family plot is. there was a complete rainbow that we were driving towards. so pretty :). and o...m...g... ive never been so cold in my life. rain was pouring and the wind was so cold, was coming from antarctica...ugh. then drove over to karetane to the marae where we met a lot of family members and had afternoon tea.
now i'm at my uncle's and theyre watching a huge rugby match between the all blacks and the lions. rugby is a funny game. looks like soccer, but with your hands, hehe.
it certainly a lot warmer at my uncle philip's house than my uncle john's. we're staying at my uncle john's in our super big, super old, super cold family house. 5 generations have lived there. but man SOOOO COOOOOOLD! i live in my bed, or downstairs by the fireplace reading harry potter (onto the 3rd one btw...i like to read them all over again when a new book comes out).
well that's all for now. i bet nobody reads this, but whatever :).
