I Am Thinking
that I should change the name of my journal to "Life, Uninterrupted". Since it is pretty much a constant stream of every thought that comes into my head and every mood that flits through my capricious self.
Life, Uninterrupted ... All Of The Crazy, All Of The Time?!
Yeaah, that could work.
Today: entertaining Captain Contrary and Baby Bug all day. Kind of excited to see what kind of mayhem a team of two year old boys will rain ... it's been a while.
This aft: Cam has informed me that he is considering dragging friends home for a gaming night. Cool. Raucous ravenous gamers needing feeding. Happy me.
This evening: long overdue girls night with my darling Danica!!! Plotting possibilities for homemade pizza and also filling a request for raspberry white chocolate scones.
Awesome crazy kickoff to the weekend.
Then Saturday, I am double booked ... was going to go to a book launch at the Manx at which VerseFest volunteers get free drinks, cuz, well, free drinks, yo. Oh, and, ummm, I'm sure the book being launched is also fascinating. But Capital Slam is also that night, and I was wanting to go to that too, but hadn't made up my mind, but then sweet lovely D.G. offered me up to Rusty to work the door for Slam, sooooo, that kind of settles things. Panicking a bit, this is another new venue and new people and I'm afraid it will be super crowded, but choosing to launch myself headlong into the insanity and trust.
I can't remember if anything is happening sunday. Suspect I will be ready for a break. And monday is a flex day, I think, which is good, good, good, since I will probably need another weekend to recover from this weekend.
Oh, hello, life. You sure are giving me everything I ask for, hunh? Maybe I should watch out for that.
