I'm sitting at my computer, realizing just how balmy this day will turn out to be and wondering how the weather got to here, when it was so cold and dark a mere couple of weeks ago. Realizing how much has changed even from those couple of weeks ago.

Congratulations!!!! Really, really great to hear from you. I'm so glad your graudation went so well :).

I'm doing good...working in D.C. for a theater company that teaches inner city kids to write plays and then professionally produces them for underserved communities throughout the D.C. metro area, running my own non-profit theater company out of Baltimore, and living in Maryland with a wonderful guy and two siamese cats.

Haven't talked to old Guilford friends (or been to Connecticut for that matter) for a very long time. I miss you guys :). I'm actually going to be in Connecticut for about a week toward the end of June (my mom's condition has deteriorated and they are going to be taking her off life support...It's heartbreaking...but it really feels like it's time). If you're in the area around then, it'd be fun to catch up.

Oh Brigitte,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I could say a million and one cliche things that you've heard a million and one times, but really I'll just say I love you and you've still got a family of friends here back home to catch you if you fall or to lean on if you cry or to make you laugh if that's all you really want. I'd love to see you.

And you sound like you're doing fantastic amazing wonderful things! I have expected no less, my dear. But you still amaze me. Good job!

Thank you so much Charlene! It was a great time but I do wish more of my friends from far away could have been there. You are all always missed. But I really do appreciate the good thoughts and your support. :) You should come home soon too!!!
