a man came into starbucks with a plastic bag with coffee beans in it and asked me to grind these beans. i had a long line so i told him i would ring some people up and it would be a few minutes. about one minute later he asked, "is there a reason why i haven't been helped yet?" i said, "i was just ringing these people up, i'm going to do it right now." then he said, in a highly irritated tone, "but i was here before them." then i said, "fuck you and your beans." then i was fired.
well, no, not exactly. i actually said, "sorry, i'll do that right now." then i was not fired.
spiderman 2 is the best movie i've seen in theaters in a long time.
i find that i am constantly burdened with that feeling you get when you are certain an object is about to fall, and the moment seems to be in slow motion, yet you cannot move fast enough to catch it.
