So, my Facebook events are full to the brim, my couch once again knows how to shape itself to my body, my DVD player is constantly warm with my grateful love and I've actually opened a book that doesn't have the word "theory" in it.
Life post-thesis is good.
IN THEORY.
(Ha, see what I did there?)
I feel a little bit lost and aimless, really. Luckily, having a pretty sweet job with a lot of fun people and great perks helps (despite paying me less than one of those coveted desk jobs where all you do all day is refill the stapler and check your email). Also, gin cocktails, work-related gossip, rainy days, Podwarz and wonderful friends helps with any post-Uni withdrawals I've been having.
Unfortunately, a desperate case of poorness also means that my dream of a post-thesis Heroes marathon is yet to be realised, as well as preventing me from acting on a long harboured desire to own a Nintendo DS, Guitar Hero III and a summer dress.
Diving into Atonement in time for the film (a potentially bad idea), and constantly singing Beatles songs and dreaming of a world filled with nothing but crooning British dreamboats named Jude and mounds of mashed potato.
Gilmore Girls Quote of the Day: "I look like a Korean Buddy Holly!"
Favourite Item of the Day: My three year old copy of Frankie that I got for 50c at the Orana School Spring Fair
Thing I Miss About Honours (of the Day): Using my bookstand all the time.
Thing I DON'T Miss About Honours (of the Day): Having to read the books on my bookstand.
