My Best Friends
In my first entry since I've been home for the summer, one of the things I mentioned that was going badly was the fact that me and one of my best friends were in a fight and not talking to each other. I'm happy to report that the fight's over and we're back to being chums. And thank God for that! I have three best friends: one guy (Gagnon) and two girls (Mellie and Kirsten), and while Gagnon is an awesome best friends, I just can't talk to him about certain "chick things." Kirsten and I share a brain. We think the same, talk the same, and even finish each other's sentences. But the really cool thing is, that even though we're so alike, we have little differences that, when we're together, make us even cooler. Like the fact that she can be kinda classy (and I'm just not) so maybe a little bit of her class will rub off on me. Or like, I'm fantastic at hair and makeup (she always looks great and she's ok at it, but she's no me when it comes to applying eye shadow hahaha) and maybe some of my aesthetic finesse will rub off on her. We just complement each other, I guess. Also, we're living together this year at school in one of the new suites that they just built on campus, so I'm wicked excited that we're not fighting anymore, cuz this year's gonna be awesome with her. We're gonna have swanky coctail parties, and hit the bars once in a while, and just be our wonderful selves and have lots of silly fun like we always do! So yay for best friends. Here's a little info on my other two best pals: Mellie is awesome. She's a cute little Greek ballerina who is such a goofball. She's always there when I need her, she doesn't judge me, and she's one of the few genuinely good people I know. And Gagnon... ooooh Gagnon, where do I start with him? Well, he's my ex. And even though he lives in Kansas at the moment and is dating a Foot, I still love him. I'd take a bullet for that silly, red-faced fucker. I think the reason we get along so well is because we understand each other. He's a really good guy and he doesn't give himself enough credit. So there they are, my 3 bestest buddies. I think everyone should be so lucky as to have friends like mine :o)
