3 cat night

I heard on the radio it was supposed to be a 3 cat night. That was a new one on me. I have heard of 3 dog night. They were a bad band. But it also used to be what described a very cold night. I know cats are now the favored pet over dogs in most cities. I wonder if the expression got changed because lots of people have 3 cats and very few have 3 dogs. Plus, realistically who wants to sleep with a bunch of dirty dogs. From my experience sleeping next to one dog is not that much fun, I can imagine 3.

You know the old saying

If you lie down with dogs you wake up with fleas.

I finally made it over to Steven Perry’s house. It was nice to drink mead and hang for a while.
