SQUIRREL ATTACK
I just played chicken with a squirrel.
I'm not sure who won.
Weirdest thing ever... I was walking down the sidewalk and a squirrel was several feet in front of me heading my way. I didn't adjust course because they're so crazy and terrified they normally run off before you get too close. This one was on drugs. He kept coming my way until he got so close we were doing that dumb dance you do with people down a narrow hallway, when one is constantly trying to allow the other to pass but you always go the same way as the person opposite you. Anyhow, the squirrel finally bolted and when he did he CHARGED ME! He hit me in the ankle! No SHIT. Not a fib or an embellishment. He rammed me. He hit my ankle so hard it's starting to swell. There isn't any broken skin or anything, so I washed up really well just in case he had parasites, but I think I will live. The crazy, hypochondriac in me wants to go to the emergency room and get a full work up and shots.
