9:45am, first day of classes. Every. Single. Computer. at the library is being used.
We will not see this level of focus and productivity until finals week, and even then there will be excessive use of Facebook as a distraction.
Actually made it to class with 3 minutes to spare, despite the el showing up early (as in before I was actually on the platform). Of course, then the instructor was about 5 minutes late. Natch. He only kept us about a half hour (it's usually a 3 hour class), so now I just sit here waiting until my next class at 1. Which will also likely get out early, as it's a photography class first day. All the other majors are working diligently on their homework already, and we're not even hanging around for a quarter of our classtime. Art students: we're slackers.
Nominal idea: work on this utterly un-ready website that's supposed to be up and running by this weekend. No, I think I'll look at the intarwebs and post on LJ instead. The procrastination, it has already begun
