If you were sent here from orangerful, hello! I'm glad you've decided to visit. I'm hoping that I can get back to LJ and have an intimate little space to share my thoughts and have interesting discussions about things

The 22nd! Although this year I'll be celebrating the 24th (and the 25th) with karaoke haha.
I didn't know any as a kid, either, but that was because we were always on summer break. I remember being really jealous of people with school year birthdays because they'd get cupcakes at school and in high school they'd get their locker decorated and would sometimes get flowers or balloons to carry around all day (LOOKING BACK NOW, THAT WOULD BE SUPER ANNOYING, but at the time I thought it was adorable).
AWESOME! I'm celebrating mine on the 25th with a Disney-themed birthday party. I am an adult.
I visited a school once that would celebrate the summer kids' birthdays every six months, which was great until I realized that my birthday would be Christmas Eve. WOMP WOMP.
AHH I wanna know more about this Disney themed party. I had a Harry Potter birthday for my 25th -- I even made invitations that looked like Hogwarts letters to send to friends. I thought about having a throw-back party for this one (like...complete with a ball pit and NERF guns/super-soakers) but I'm not sure if I'm doing that anymore. We'll see!
Basically, I wanted to make dole whips and churros, so I decided a Disney theme would fit the bill. I want it to be more Parks-focused, and I'm encouraging costumes, Disneybound outfits, Mickey ears, etc. Since SW and Marvel are both in the parks, those count too. ;)
I want to do themed snacks and decor. I should probably get planning! This is my first real birthday party since I was a teenager, probably. I'm so excited!

I didn't know ANY June birthdays when I was a kid, and I know so many now. It makes me happy to have birthday month buddies.
