Shitajiki are known as Pencil boards. In Japan they are used as a board to write on to protect your paper from dips and or cuts in the wood of the school desks. Collectors over there keep them unused. In the US they are strickly a collectible.

Cels are from the animation of a non CG series. Sailor Moon, Marmalade Boy, Card Captor Sakura were all series that they hand drew artwork for. They made the sketches first. Proofed them then made them into animation cels. From there they scanned each cel and used notes on the animation sketches for placement, movement, characters, colors, and or background info. And after that all they were merged as one to create the series you see on TV.

I got all my items from Yahoo!Japan or from Dealers inside the US who travel there and buy the Japanese items to bring for sale to the US.

Standard sized cels are around 10in x 9.5in and they have 2 registraition holes at the top.

Movie sized animation cels are approximatly 14in x 9.5in
Some movie cels can be found in the smaller format. Depending on the show.

Pan cels can be upwards the size of a poster. These can run hundred's of dollars if not in the thousands for a "primo" cel. Meaning a kick butt, high end artwork cel.

If you need/ want more info on cels, sketches ect please view this site. -> http://www.fukushuu.org/cels/faqsubsection.php?g=c&si=1
