RArgh
This morning public schools were delayed by 2 hours which meant preschool was delayed one hour which meant I didn't get to go to yoga. Furthermore, I was an idiot and it didn't even occur to me that school might have been delayed or cancelled until I got there and the parking lot was empty! Waaa. We spent a boring hour in the lobby waiting for it to be 10:30. Luckily I didn't slide off the road or even hit any ice.
I ran around all day today and am exhausted. I'm so glad we're not going dancing tonight. DH hurt his back and can barely move:( He says he did this after standing on one leg for 30 seconds while trying to put his sock on.
On the productive front I got the grocery shopping done and everyone picked up and dropped off at the appropriate times. Plus we had a bonus this evening. We got to visit with a friend we haven't seen in over a year. That was a lot of fun. She doesn't have a "blog" or LJ or website even (*gasp*) and she was saying she thought it took a certain personality to have one. I don't know if that's true. Maybe. What do you all think? Does one have to be "writerly" to have a blog or LJ?
Also, I forgot to review Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison. It was cute. I liked it quite a bit. I'm definitely curious to read the next one although I'm not running to put it on hold right now either. I'm ankle deep in parenting books at the moment.
One last thing I'm excited about is that I now get 6 icons! Woo hoo. Double trouble:) I am sure I won't feel it's enough, but what they heck, I'm excited about it for now.
And the senate failed to pass the Patriot Act. Wahoo! Something sane finally happened. I knew it had to happen some day.
