Just found out that someone I knew briefly for a few months 16 years ago was killed BY HER HUSBAND about a month ago. OMG so awful. I knew him too. So, I'm going to go try some stitching therapy and see if I can blot that from my brain ( Read more... )

It's always hard when someone dies and worse when someone is killed by someone else you know.

Right? So awful. Not supposed to happen in the circles I travel in. Shouldn't happen in any circles.

No but I know what you mean. Like the first person in my age group I knew that got cancer. Just, what?! Intellectually, of course we know it happens to anyone, but emotionally, it just doesn't make sense.
