Hah, I'm even busier
So far this trip has mostly been very fun. We stayed with my parents' next door neighbor last night. She is so generous and lovely and also an artist and it was just fun to chit chat.
This morning we made it out by 10 and got to St Pete by noon. Had lunch and trooped over to the Dali Museum. I could have spent the entire afternoon there, but we were pretty done by 3:30. I was glad it was not my first time there though. I came away with a thorough appreciation of Dali as a true visionary. He was apparently fascinated by science and believed that the spiral was central to life -- a year or so before Watson and Crick discovered the form of DNA he was playing with spirals and double helices.
It was a very nice stop on the way up to Orlando. Tomorrow we do Sea World. I don't know if we're truly cut out for it, but I guess we'll see how it goes.
I'm enjoying the convo about Halt and Catch Fire, even if I'm not participating. Feel free to carry on. Hope you are all having a lovely time doing whatever it is you're doing. I feel incredibly disconnected from everything.
