Day 15
In your own space, create your own challenge. What’s something you want to see more people doing in fandom? Is there something fun you’ve tried that you think other people would enjoy if they gave it a go? Dare your friends to try it out, and have fun with it.
What I would like to see is more conversation, more collaboration, more flow back and forth. A lot of you already do that, but the most exciting part of fandom to me is collaboration whether in the form of writing for a friend, writing to a prompt, or more fully collaborating on a fanwork (ie, someone writes, I podfic, or we write something together, etc.). Basically, I want all squee all the time. :D
Day 14
In your own space, write a love letter. Write it Fandom in general, to a particular fandom, to a trope, a relationship, a character, or to your flist. Share you love and squee as loud as you want to.
Dear fandom, thank you for being fucking awesome. I have found a space where I can speak. I can try out different voices. Fandom is all about support to me. It's not about fitting in and being just like everyone else (which is what I thought when I first fell in). It's about feeling safe to explore and being pushed, sometimes uncomfortably over the edge. My life has improved immeasurably since I fell into fandom and I am grateful to all of you, even if we don't share a fandom. <3 <3 <3
