Oh stuff
Yesterday I found Kudos on this Work which was started by 
jedusaur . It is collaborative, and recursive, and deeply meta and what fandom is all about for me. I am pondering different ways to transform it and one thing I definitely want to do is quilt it, but that will be a solitary activity. I might (hopefully) video it as the work is performative and I want to keep that intact, which podficcing will also do.
So, I want to do something podficcy with it. I'm thinking something more remixy. I feel like I need to have a space where people can talk about how this should play out (although final authority rests with me, unless other people take the media and do something else with it which I completely and totally encourage).
It seems like people are unhappy about being labeled as "author" and are removing themselves from the author list. I don't want this issue to crop up with the work I create. I am also wondering about comments. The work has blanket permission, but does that cover comments? I wouldn't assume it would cover comments of people who are not participating in the podfic remix. Would love to hear people's thoughts on this.
In other unrelated news, I have made progress on yuletide ! 825 words. Yay! Thanks so much to
alba17 for extensive and multiple brainstorming sessions.
