I am so unfocused today, I'm going to try to post a to do list.
laundry (at least 2 loads)
clean up kitchen
mow (maybe just the front yard; I can put off the back until Wed I think) (WHOLE THING POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN AND DIZZINESS)
family meeting
something with fabric (mermaid maybe?)
get colonoscopy prep stuff
fill car with gas
cook brussel sprouts, broccoli and parsnips
Am I forgetting something?
I think Merlin is making me very trepidatious about falling in love with another show. I want to, but I can't seem to let go, to take that plunge. Ugh. I watched the first ep of Sleepy Hollow and am very ambivalent about it. It may not be geeky enough for me in the end.
If anyone wants to talk to me about colonoscopy prep day and/or the aftereffects of the anesthesia, I'd appreciate it. Feel free to PM or email if you don't want to comment here. For the record, I am having it b/c my mom had rectal cancer 2 years ago and I'm over 40. Just because I think I'm 12, or 16, or 27 does not actually make my body that age. Which is good, for the most part.
Oh, and I told
vassalady I'd do some recs for audio books for her. I loved the Diane Mott Davidson books that Barbara Rosenblat read. She's awesome. I would listen to anything she read. She also narrated some of Dorothy Gilman's books. David Colacci narrated the Commissario Brunetti novels by Donna Leon. They take place in Venice and Colacci's Italian accent is perfect. Alan Cumming narrated Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld and it's stunning. The trilogy is AMAZING. That's all I've got for now.
