It's just opened here, I was thinking about going to see it, looks quiet intriguing (and i love Ben Whishaw)

Oh god. I LOVED this movie. I'm waiting for it to come out on dvd. I don't know how someone made gifs of it. It's very very good. I recommend listening to the Nerdist podcast with the Wachowskis and Tom Tykwver and also listening to Lana Wachowski's speech to the HRC before you see the movie. But really, I was completely engrossed.

Will look for that podcast!
Somebody told me that they downloaded it - don't know where exactly from, maybe as a bit torrent. I think I would rather see it on the big screen first though

Cool, thanks, I'll listen using headphones!
I just checked, its not in Gold Class yet, don't know your equivalent, but its comfy seats and they bring food and drinks - decadent!, I've got tickets that need using up!
Planned to leave DH at home and go with one of my sisters.

Good plan!

Gold Class? In the theater? We don't have that. We are a bunch of penny grubbers, or whatever the term was in Shakespeare's time. LOL. Maybe some places are nicer, but most of the cinemas here are just one big open room.

Gold class in Cinema - about 20 people, huge recliners, the best thing ever! Even though we've only done it once before (expensive though, hence the tickets given as a christmas present, then there's the normal theatre as well, and some there are nicer than others, usually I just go to see kids movies, or I just wait for the dvd or download - I think that would be being called a tightarse!

Heh. I usually go to the earliest daytime matinee. I'm a tightwad too:)

That Gold Class business sounds awesome! You should definitely do that for Cloud Atlas. It needs to be seen on the big screen.

It is the most awesome, but it spoils you for ordinary cinema though..

it looks like it should be seen on the big screen for the effects - the last one we saw was Lovely Bones, which was good for the visuals as well.

Cloud Atlas has amazing visuals, definitely. It's half scifi/half old time kind of stuff, but the storyline on the ship and the future stuff is GREAT on the big screen.

I'm off to dance very soon. Hope you have a great day!
